Solid bamboo flooring has 2 basic colors – natural and caramel, very less choices for the customers who want to make a choice from a number of colors, similar like hardwood floors. Because of bamboo natural characteristic, color is obvious disadvantage rather than wood and laminate floor. Fortunately, the coating company helps bamboo factory expand the color series by putting a stain sealer in coating of bamboo flooring. The color is very inside of coating, not on top coat which could make bamboo floors decade after months.

Vertical grain is side-pressed style, bamboo strips are turned on their side, then laid next to one another. They are then glued and pressed together. Vertical offers a more uniform look than horizontal, and lacks the obviously visible nodes. Vertical boards give a much more linear look and are considered less durable than the layered, horizontal construction. This gives the floor more lines within the pattern, as well as a very consistent and even coloring.

Brushed bamboo flooring is customized and non-standard surface treatment, our factory requests minimum quantity of 300 square meters for production.

Solid bamboo flooring is exactly how it sounds: solid. This style of flooring will give you the most natural, rustic look of the plant, as the interesting grains and patterns will stand out along the flooring surface. Solid bamboo flooring visualizations spotless stability, chick lines, and critical simplicity create this magnificent flooring as one of terrific design idea. Solid bamboo flooring compromise comfortable publicity incorporate color distribution, element connection, design blend involvement and design plan format, which the whole phase mix together to create fantastic flooring.

Solid Bamboo Flooring Manufacturing Process:

Step 1: After harvesting, bamboo is cut into strips. These strips are boiled in a water and boric acid solution. This removes sugars from the stalks which is necessary because sugars attract termites. This boiling process also stops the growth of fungus and mold. Any insects in the bamboo will also be removed.

Step 2: The process of steaming bamboo material under a controlled pressure and temperature is called carbonization, in which bio-organisms and sugar breaks down, and the color of the material darkens.

Step 3: All bamboo strips will be dried in the dry kiln to make the moisture content to be less than 10%. Lower moisture on bamboo strips, higher stability on bamboo flooring.

Step 4: A stringent selection process ensures only premium strips will be used for bamboo flooring. Selected strips are stacked in layers and glued with an environmentally safe adhesive prior to being put through a 1250 ton press to form planks.

Step 5: This plank is then milled in a computerized mill that accurately cuts each board. After the boards are milled, they are sanded and coated with aluminum oxide finish.
